Cycling Trails
Dvůr Stráň is an ideal place for a cycling holiday, located in the heart of picturesque nature, right on cycle route no. 6 (formerly no. 204) in the Ore Mountains.
National Cycle Route No. 6 follows the Ohře cycle path, which forms the main cycling corridor of the Karlovy Vary Region. The route begins at the border with Bavaria near Slapan and initially follows the Odrava River. From Cheb, it then follows the Ohře River all the way to Karlovy Vary. Most of the cycle route is on dedicated bike paths or local roads with minimal traffic. From the regional capital, the route passes through Vysoká and Stráň and continues to the border of the Ústí Region. The marked route then continues to Perštejn (Lužný), where it connects to the Ohře path in the Ústí Region. From there, the section Perštejn – Kadaň is already marked.
In the future, it is planned that cycle route number 6 will be marked along the Ohře River all the way to its confluence with the Elbe River near Litoměřice.
The cycle path section from Chocovice to Sokolov is very suitable for riding with children, as it has a smooth asphalt surface, and the only climb is in Dasnice near Kynšperk.
For our guests, there is a bike rental available for children and adults, and we provide cycling maps of the area along with recommended routes and trip tips.
